Adam Schiff: FISA Memo Could Lead To Firings Of Mueller, Rosenstein

Reuters quoted Adam Schiff, the top Democrat on the House Intel Committee, who believes the contents of the four-page memo about allegedly egregious FBI abuses of FISA set for public release in the next several days, could lead to the firing of Special Counsel Bob Mueller, or more likely Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein.

TOP DEMOCRAT ON U.S. HOUSE INTELLIGENCE COMMITTEE SAYS REPUBLICAN MEMO SETS STAGE FOR POSSIBLE FIRING OF SPECIAL COUNSEL MUELLER OR MORE LIKELY DEPUTY ATTORNEY GENERAL ROSENSTEIN
And:

U.S. HOUSE INTELLIGENCE COMMITTEE CHAIRMAN NUNES SAYS “NO SURPRISE” TO SEE THE FBI AND JUSTICE DEPARTMENT ISSUE “SPURIOUS OBJECTIONS” TO REPUBLICAN MEMO -STATEMENT
Now the question of course is whether this is a statement of fact – in other words the FISA memo contains cause for termination – or a smoke screen to claim that Mueller’s firing is only made possible by the “political act” that is the imminent release of the FISA memo.

What is it about Bernie Sanders that turns his fans into homicidal maniacs?

Last summer, a Sanders supporter shot up a baseball field of Republican congressmen, severely injuring Rep. Steve Scalise. While President Trump is constantly criticized for his fiery language that induces some to violence, Sanders escaped criticism, and continues to do so.

Now, a surrogate for his campaign has openly wished for the death of Republicans in the Amtrak train wreck in West Virginia earlier today. Take a look at this now-deleted tweet posted in the wake of the deadly accident:

POLITICS, LIES AND AUDIOTAPE

It is no secret that Arab countries, especially, but not only, the so-called “moderate” ones that include Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt and Jordan – who are defined as such in western circles largely for their stance toward Israel – have mostly been all icing and no cake when it comes to Palestine.

Nevertheless, they have also and in public long held (mostly) sharp red lines: neighbors Jordan and Egypt apart, there would be no full diplomatic relations with Israel until the Palestinian “question” was solved. And prescriptions for that solution had to include a (vaguely defined) “just resolution” of the refugee problem, as well as (the more clearly spelled out) statehood and independence for Palestinians in the entirety of the West Bank and Gaza Strip with a capital in East Jerusalem.
***
Arab state weakness generally conforms to a pattern across the region: poor governance as a result of autocratic clientelist state systems that are resistant to outside ideas but reliant on outside funding and patronage or single-resource economies. Corruption, nepotism, toadyism and stagnation follow as a matter of course, with – to paraphrase – sectarianism the last refuge of the scoundrel.

The last few years of revolutions, counter-revolutions, civil wars, wars and invasions right across the Arab regions have also seen the Palestinian issue slide down the list of priorities and ended its role as a safe outlet for popular anger. And then there is Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Intelligence Agency Offers Unsolicited Aide to US against Iran’s IRGC

The documents released by the Yemen Cyber Army after it hacked the Saudi Foreign Ministry in May show that Riyadh has persuaded the US to place more Iranian IRGC commanders under its sanctions list.
The Saudi Foreign Ministry was hacked by the Yemen Cyber Army in May, and a copy of its information was sent to FNA and another one to the whistleblower website WikiLeaks.

According to one of these documents, Mostafa bin Mohammad Habib Kowsar, the director-general of the Saudi foreign ministry for Asian States Affairs, in a letter to the deputy head of the ministry’s department for bilateral relations has stated that he has received a telegraph from Khalid al-Tuwaijri, the Chief of the Royal Court of Saudi Arabia under King Abdullah, informing that Riyadh has come to realize changes in the IRGC’s chain of command.

to Kowsar’s letter, Tuwaijri has proposed in his cable that the names of new IRGC commanders be added to the list of those Iranians who had been sanctioned internationally or unilaterally by the US which would lead to their travel ban and freezing of their assets.

The cable has also warned that Saudi Arabia doesn’t want to play an overt role in this regard and the information should be presented to the US officials secretively.>>>

“As far as I know, there are no problems,” a Spokesman said. The vessel is loaded with gas originating from Russia’s Yamal LNG plant at the British port of Isle of Grain from which it headed to Everett, an American terminal near Boston.

North Korea Says Seoul’s Military Alliance With US May End Momentum for Dialogue

North Korea strongly condemned the South Korea-U.S. alliance Saturday, accusing their joint defense efforts of being aimed at toppling its communist regime and saying such efforts may also lead to an end of ongoing dialogue between the two Koreas.

“The South Korean government must realize its foul military consultation with the U.S. may be a foolish act that will put out the hard-earned chance of improving the North-South relationship and ruin its own fate,” Rodong Sinmun, a daily newspaper published by the North’s ruling Workers’ Party, said in a signed commentary.

The commentary was largely aimed at criticizing the two-plus-two Extended Deterrence Strategy and Consultation Group talks held last week between Seoul and Washington, in which the allies agreed to continue maintaining U.S. defense assets around the Korean Peninsula.

China and the United States are heading towards a trade war

One of the pillars of President Trump’s election campaign was fixing America’s yawning trade deficit with China. Indeed, he went so far as to call trade with Beijing as China’s “rape” of the US economy. Trump also railed against the “theft” of coveted manufacturing jobs from the American heartland. So it seemed like a trade war was an eventuality.

However, Trump didn’t address the trade imbalance with China in his first year in office. The deficit with China came in at a hefty $344 billion last year. That was only a smidge below President Obama’s last year in office and an eye-watering 52% above the 2009 trade deficit.

Mister Paul Craig Robberts: Trump’s Foreign Policy Is In Service To Israel

Peter Jenkins, a former British ambassador to the International Atomic Energy Agency, expresses concerns about the decisions of France, Germany, and the UK to appease President Trump on fixing “flaws” in the Iranian nuclear agreement. It is worth a read to see that the European governments are still Washington’s toadies despite the “hate Trump” attitude that allegedly prevails among Washington’s European vassals.

Readers need to understand that there are no flaws in the agreement. The allegation of “flaws” is an israeli orchestration in order to resurrect the attacks on Iran that the nuclear agreement terminated. What Trump is doing is appeasing Israel. Israel doesn’t want Iran to have long range missiles, non-nuclear ones, that enhance Iran’s defensive posture. More importantly, Israel does not want to lose the nuclear weapons charge that Israel invented and hoped to use to have the US military destabilize Iran a la Iraq and Libya.>>>

Iran, as Supporter of Self-Determination, a Thorn in Imperial Washington’s Side

ASHINGTON (Analysis) — Washington’s hostility towards the Islamic Republic of Iran dates back nearly 40 years to February of 1979, when revolutionary forces overthrew the Western-backed monarchy of Mohammad Reza Shah.

The United States consistently maintains that its involvement began with the hostage crisis in 1979 and continues today due to Iran’s ballistic missile and nuclear program, as well as meddling throughout the region in places like Syria, Lebanon, and now Yemen (albeit without evidence in some cases).

What the media and Western governments don’t mention is that Iran’s core ideology stands directly opposed to U.S. military and economic expansion. The Islamic Republic’s promotion of self-determination indeed poses an existential threat to Washington’s dominance throughout the entire region — similar to that of communism during the Cold War.

TRUMP’S DRAFT AMNESTY: CITIZENSHIP FOR ILLEGAL ALIEN POPULATION 6X OBAMA’S DACA…

President Trump’s amnesty plan would potentially give a pathway to U.S. citizenship to an illegal alien population that is roughly six times the number of illegal aliens that were given temporary amnesty under former President Obama.
An almost final draft of the White House’s expansive amnesty plan obtained by Breitbart News reveals that the Trump administration would be expanding Obama’s federal, temporary amnesty—known as the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program—to six times the number of illegal aliens who are enrolled in the DACA.

Former Koch brothers executive Marc Short, who previously led the failed “Never Trump” effort inside the pro-mass immigration billionaires’ network, helped craft the White House amnesty plan, along with Chief of Staff Gen. John Kelly, Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen, and senior adviser Stephen Miller.

The White House amnesty plan estimates that about 1.8 million illegal aliens will be eligible for a pathway to U.S. citizenship under their proposal.>>>

The administration is anxious to win Democratic approval for an amnesty, says former Never-Trump leader Marc Short, who is now working as President Donald Trump’s chief outreach aide to Congress.
“Chris, we’re anxious to get a deal,” Short told Fox News Sunday on January 28 before explaining why the administration rapidly caved to Democratic demands for bigger amnesties of illegal-immigrant workers, from 690,000 to 1.2 million, then to 1.5 million, then up to 1.8 million.

We started by saying we want to protect the 690,000 people who have permits under DACA, meaning people age 16 to 36, who have work permits who are in this country, producing, contributing to our economy. We, of course, want to protect them. We don’t want to send them away.

But Democrats said that population should be larger>>>

Russiagate was a conspiracy organized for the purpose of bringing down the elected president of the United States.

What America is confronted with is a coup conspiracy organized by top officials of the Obama Justice Department, FBI, CIA, the Hillary DNC, and the presstitute media to overturn the result of a democratic election and remove the president from office.

False wars, false ‘money,’ false corporate media… nuclear false flag Super Bowl?

*hyperlinks/videos live at source*

I’ve warned of false flag attacks at the Super Bowl and on Chicago. This is an updated warning.

Your question: If US .01% oligarchs concluded they could get away with it, would they stage a False Flag Operation (and here for abundant historical examples) at the 2018 Super Bowl to further their political agenda? Perhaps it would look like this 2-minute clip from the 2002 movie, The Sum of All Fears; with plot of a non-complicit US President and non-false flag terrorism:

Considerations for your answer: History is the best tool to predict future events of specific groups’ plans. This is similar to what both Super Bowl teams do in game strategy: analysis of opponents’ history with reasonable conclusions what they’ve successfully done before, they will likely do again.

But is there a US .01% oligarchy that would orchestrate a False Flag Super Bowl attack? Isn’t that beyond reason???

AMERICAN THINKER: What Is Trump Doing with DACA?

American Thinker reports: Last Thursday afternoon, President Trump presented the outlines of his proposed “deal” on DACA. It offers full amnesty with a path to citizenship for 1.8 million DACA eligible illegal aliens. In so doing he demoralized the huge base of support that carried him into office specifically because he promised to swiftly end DACA, and simultaneously cut off at the knees ongoing efforts to push back against amnesty for illegal aliens.
On Saturday Neil Munro authored an article based on a pre-release copy of the full Trump plan obtained by Breitbart News, which has provoked an outraged uproar. It details numerous other proposals that make a mockery of Trump’s promise to secure the border. As Ted Cruz so accurately said, the president is betraying the greatest single promise he made to voters.

Two Israeli Officers Involved In Lebanon Car Bomb Attack Against Hamas Official

A recent report has exposed that two Israeli agents were involved in the car bomb explosion in the southern Lebanese city of Sidon, which slightly wounded a member of the Palestinian Islamic resistance movement, Hamas, earlier this month.

According to a report published by Lebanon’s Arabic-language al-Akhbar newspaper on Monday, the pair was aided by two locals in the assassination operation against Mohammed Hamdan on January 14. They left Lebanon using Georgian, Swedish and Iraqi passports.

The report added that Lebanese security officials have now managed to identify the two Israeli officers, obtain their photographs and copies of their identity documents, the date of their entry into and exit from Lebanon, their respective roles in the operation and the nationality they used to operate under disguise.

40,000 Indians Flee As Fighting Erupts On Pakistan Border

White house syria russia  THOUGHT FOR THE DAY!   White house syria russia

“When all government, in little as in great things, shall be drawn to Washington as the Center of all Power, it will render powerless the checks provided of one government on another and will become as venal and oppressive as the government from which we separated.” — Thomas Jefferson (1743-1826), US Founding Father, drafted the Declaration of Independence, 3rd US President Source: (1821) in a letter to Gideon Granger.

NZ research shows first jet from massive young star detected outside our galaxy

A New Zealand scientist has discovered a young, massive star in a neighbouring galaxy that appears to be 12 times bigger than the Sun.

Marsden Fellow Dr Anna McLeod, of University of Canterbury’s School of Physical and Chemical Sciences, says the major astronomical discovery will drive significant advancement in the field of star formation.

“It also gives a further clue on one of the biggest questions in modern astronomy: how do massive stars form?” Dr McLeod said.

“Massive stars are so important because they regulate the formation of new generations of stars as well as the evolution of entire galaxies. Our discovery captures a massive star as it is forming, and it sheds light onto the formation mechanism.”

DOJ Demands Sanctuary Cities Turn Over Law-Enforcement Documents

The Trump administration’s battle with so-called sanctuary cities escalated Wednesday when the Department of Justice, under the guidance of Attorney General Jeff Sessions, asked for records from 20 cities and countries, including the country’s three largest, as well as California, Illinois and Oregon.

The documents would reveal whether law enforcement agencies in these jurisdictions are illegally withholding information from US immigration authorities in violation of federal law, Reuters reported. Most sanctuary cities have passed local laws meant to stop municipal law enforcement from sharing an arrestee’s immigration status with ICE.

“If these jurisdictions fail to respond to our request, fail to respond completely or fail to respond in a timely manner, we will exercise our lawful authorities and issue subpoenas for the information,” said a senior Justice Department official, briefing reporters on condition of anonymity.

THE DEEP STATE DEFINED…

?The Deep State is the term given to the members of the seventeen U.S. spy agencies; the classified sectors of the Department of Defense branches; and the hundreds of associated military contractors. In short, it’s the modern term for the Military-Industrial-Complex in our post-industrial era. The Deep State is not a conspiracy theory as some disinformation outlets state, in fact, that doesn’t even make sense. Saying the Deep State is a conspiracy theory is like saying agencies such as the CIA or NSA are conspiracy theories. While some would argue that deeds attributed to various Deep State agencies are conspiracies theories – and often times conspiracy realities – the term itself is not a conspiracy theory, and it is widely used by respected journalists and academic researchers.

VICTORY: Police Agree to Settle Lawsuit Over Unconstitutional Raid, Search, Seizure & Arrest of Homeowner Who Refused Consent to Warrantless Entry

Police have agreed to favorably settle a Fourth Amendment lawsuit brought by The Rutherford Institute over a warrantless raid, search, and arrest of a Texas homeowner based on unreliable information from an anonymous source.

Rutherford Institute attorneys filed the lawsuit after Gillespie County (Tex.) Sheriff’s Office deputies carried out a warrantless raid on Huntly and Susan Dantzler’s rural home, which allegedly resulted in Huntly Dantzler being seized by police officers, placed in handcuffs, thrown to the ground and subsequently arrested for refusing to consent to the warrantless search of his home. In September 2017, a federal district court rejected efforts by police to dismiss the lawsuit, ruling that the officers’ actions as set forth in the lawsuit were based on inaccurate information from an anonymous source and violated the Dantzlers’ clearly-established constitutional rights. Affiliate attorney Jerri Ward of Garlo Ward, P.C., assisted with the Dantzlers’ defense.

Over 650 Syrian civilians killed in US-led airstrikes in 40 months: SOHR

A monitoring group says more than 600 children have lost their lives ever since the US-led coalition purportedly fighting the Daesh Takfiri terrorist group started its aerial assaults against residential areas across Syria back in September 2014.

The so-called Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported that 2,815 people, including 655 minors and 481 women, were killed in US-led aerial attacks against civilian areas in the conflict-plagued Arab country over the past 40 months.

The London-based watchdog said the aerial assaults were conducted in the provinces of Hasakah, Raqqah, Aleppo, Idlib and Dayr al-Zawr, noting that the remains of 19 victims still await identification.

It added that the US-led coalition continues to carry out airstrikes across Syria despite the fact that the militants are controlling only pockets of Syrian territories following their humiliating defeats in the northern and eastern parts of the country.

Iran seizes bombs, explosives in Saudi terror plot

Iran has captured two large caches of explosives and powerful bombs that were supposed to be detonated in populated areas as part of two terrorist plots, one of them directly designed and led by Saudi Arabia.

The Iranian Intelligence Ministry said in a Wednesday statement that in one operation, security forces discovered no less than 23 remote controlled bombs that terrorists were going to use in order to wreak havoc in the eastern parts of the country.

Terrorists had managed to carry the bombs over Iran’s eastern borders and sneak them into the country using help from Saudi intelligence agencies, according to the statement.

US May Be Preparing Preemptive Strike Against North Korean Nuclear Sites

It’s no secret that the US military has been gradually amassing firepower on the Korean Peninsula since Pyongyang began testing a range of ballistic missiles in April, triggering a US military buildup across the border in South Korea. Now, it appears the Pentagon is preparing its forces there for a potential nuclear strike against North Korea.

The B-2 Spirit stealth bomber and B-52 Stratofortress strategic bomber, the two planes comprising the “air leg” of the US’ nuclear triad, have both been deployed to the Korean Peninsula. Furthermore, Business Insider reported that the B-2s may soon be equipped with modified B-61 nuclear bombs.

The B-61 thermonuclear gravity bomb has been the US’ low yield strategic and tactical nuclear bomb of choice since the 1960s. Its compact design was recently modified to increase its penetrative potential so that it can better strike at underground targets — where most of North Korea’s nuclear arsenal is believed to be.

South Korea Slips Off the US Leash

The mainstream US media, when it comes to the idea of talks between the governments of North and South Korea, are focused on the idea that North Korean leader Kim Jong-un is trying to drive a wedge between the Republic of Korea and the United States. No doubt that is true, but this focus misses a major part of the story.

What we’re really seeing here is South Korean President Moon Jae-in making a bold move to assert South Korea’s independence from the United States.

Nobody should be surprised that Moon, who was swept into power thanks to a surge of voters (he won by 41.1% against two conservative parties which received 24% and 21.1%) last year on a promise to reach out to North Korea and attempt to bring the two warring halves of the Korean Peninsula (they are still technically in a state of war that began in 1950, nearly 68 years ago) back together.

Obama administration cheated Turkey in Syria: President Erdo?an

The administration of former U.S. President Barack Obama “failed to keep its promises” to Turkey in Syria, not following up its pledge to “leave Manbij to its rightful owners,” President Recep Tayyip Erdo?an has said.

“There was an operation during Mr. Obama’s administration. That operation aimed to clear terrorists from Manbij. But he failed to keep up to his promise and cheated us,” Erdo?an said in a speech to neighborhood heads (muhtars) in Ankara on Jan. 24.

Manbij is a city in the northeast of the Aleppo Governorate in northern Syria, currently controlled by the People’s Protection Units (YPG), which Ankara sees as linked to the outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK).

“We’ve done our part but they have not. They promised they would send the terrorists in this area to the east of the Euphrates and leave Manbij to its rightful owners. But they did not keep their promise,” Erdo?an said.

“Too Big To Believe” – Massive Scandal Is Brewing At The FBI

As the Potemkin Village walls of The Left’s ‘Trump Collusion’ narrative crash and burn along with special counsel Mueller’s credibility, The New York Post’s Michael Goodwin sees far more wide-ranging problems ahead for America’s ‘intelligence’ agencies as the anti-Trump ‘secret society’ and lovers-texts-gate debacles threaten the core of the Deep State.

Goodwin writes that, during the financial crisis, the federal government bailed out banks it declared “too big to fail.” Fearing their bankruptcy might trigger economic Armageddon, the feds propped them up with taxpayer cash.

Something similar is happening now at the FBI, with the Washington wagons circling the agency to protect it from charges of corruption. This time, the appropriate tag line is “too big to believe.”

As secretary of state, Hillary Clinton routinely asked her maid to print out sensitive government emails and documents — including ones containing classified information — from her house in Washington, DC, emails and FBI memos show. But the housekeeper lacked the security clearance to handle such material.

In fact, Marina Santos was called on so frequently to receive emails that she may hold the secrets to emailgate — if only the FBI and Congress would subpoena her and the equipment she used.

Clinton entrusted far more than the care of her DC residence, known as Whitehaven, to Santos. She expected the Filipino immigrant to handle state secrets, further opening the Democratic presidential nominee to criticism that she played fast and loose with national security.

ISRAEL’S “SAFE ZONE” IS CREEPING FARTHER INTO SYRIA

ISRAEL IS EXPANDING its influence and control deeper into opposition-held southern Syria, according to multiple sources in the area. After failed attempts to ensure its interests were safeguarded by the major players in the war next door, Israel is pushing to implement the second phase of its “safe-zone” project — an attempt to expand a buffer ranging out from the occupied Golan Heights deeper into the southern Syrian provinces of Quneitra and Daraa. The safe zone expansion marks a move toward deeper Israeli involvement in Syria’s civil war.

The Intercept learned the outlines of the safe-zone expansion plan through a monthslong investigation relying on information from a variety of sources, including Syrian opposition activists on the ground in the south, Syrian opposition figures based in Jordan, Syrian government sources, and an Israeli-American NGO directly involved in the safe-zone project.

Deep State Plot Thickens: Two Top FBI Officials Discussed ‘Secret Society’ In Anti-Trump Texts

Now, some lawmakers are demanding more inquiry into these texts, as the two disgraced officials also texted about a “secret society.”

Strzok was deeply involved in both the Hillary Clinton email probe and FBI Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia probe. He and Page were romantically involved with each other and during the 2016 presidential election, they spoke regularly. Newly freed, rancher Cliven Bundy gets a hero’s welcome in Montana

Cliven Bundy was fresh out of jail, and so the nation’s most controversial rancher strode into the town of Paradise and called on hundreds of supporters — a sea of cattlemen, timber workers and star-struck children — to follow in his footsteps.

“Go and read your Constitution,” he said, telling the crowd Saturday to reject federal control of millions of acres of American landscapes. Washington, he declared, has no business “telling you how to graze your cattle, cut your timber, mine your mines.”

In 2014, when his fight over cattle grazing led to an armed standoff with federal agents, Bundy became a symbol of defiance for rural Westerners angry over the government’s management of public lands.

By the time he walked free this month, that issue had become a national flashpoint. The Trump administration has moved to open more lands to mining, drilling and logging, to the cheers of land-rights activists and commercial interests and the dismay of environmentalists.

California To Business Owners: Half Of Your Savings From Trump’s Tax Bill Belongs To Us

California lawmakers are targeting the expected windfall that companies in the state would see under the federal tax overhaul with a bill that would require businesses to turn over half to the state.

A proposed Assembly Constitutional Amendment by Assemblymen Kevin McCarty, D-Sacramento, and Phil Ting, D-San Francisco, would create a tax surcharge on California companies making more than $1 million so that half of their federal tax cut would instead go to programs that benefit low-income and middle-class families.

what really happen? #Hillary Clinton

Thought of day : what ‘s hillary clinton thinks??

(CNN)Hillary Clinton had no plan to make news — let alone go after the Democratic National Committee.

But then she found herself face to face with veteran tech journalists Kara Swisher and Walt Mossberg at the Recode conference in California. Anxiety about social media and the spread of “fake news” was in the air. When Mossberg lamented that Democrats had fallen “way behind” Republicans on the technology front, Clinton let loose.
“I get the nomination. So I’m now the nominee of the Democratic Party. I inherit nothing from the Democratic Party,” Clinton said Wednesday. “I mean, it was bankrupt, it was on the verge of insolvency, its data was mediocre to poor, nonexistent, wrong. I had to inject money into it.”
Since reemerging in public after her defeat in November, Clinton has leveled sharp criticism at a host of targets she blames for President Donald Trump’s victory, including Russia, former FBI Director James Comey and major news organizations like the New York Times.
But her stunning rebuke this week of the DNC surprised and unsettled even her allies and former aides, who are fretting in private — and some in public — that Clinton is at risk of alienating Democrats who supported her loyally.
Clinton associates say that she is unlikely to make a habit of criticizing her own party’s institutions, describing her comments at the Recode interview as a one-off event — and a unique confluence of her frustrations and a digital-savvy audience eager to hear them.
But her allies also acknowledge that Clinton’s grievances about the DNC are real and also note that she had lamented well before Election Day that the Democratic Party’s infrastructure did not serve her well.
Clinton has been mulling over the reasons that led to her unexpected defeat on November 8. As she has acknowledged in public, Clinton has mentally separated out those reasons into two categories: those that could have been corrected and others that were simply out of her control.
Russia’s meddling in the election, the Wikileaks hacks, the coverage of her private email server and even Comey’s actions fall in the latter column.
But Clinton believed during the campaign and maintains to this day that her party’s data operation was utterly inadequate, hurt her candidacy and was entirely fixable.
The DNC issue has “been on her mind since before Election Day,” a Clinton associate told CNN.
“These were all things that affected the election and that we can solve going forward,” the associate added. “This was newsy because it was talking about a specific political organization within her party, but it wasn’t out of line with the other hard truths that she’s been talking about.”

All about Comey

But overwhelmingly, Clinton is focused on Russian interference in the election along with Comey’s public statements about the investigation into her private email server as chief reasons for her defeat.
She has been increasingly explicit in alleging mischief on the part of the Russians and the Trump campaign, frequently pointing her finger directly at Trump himself. Amid an escalating federal investigation into individuals in the Trump orbit, Clinton has sharpened those allegations in public appearances, seeming to grow more confident that she will be vindicated by facts.
Clinton has said that if the election had been on October 27 — the day before Comey sent a letter to members of Congress about her use of an email server — she would have won the election. In her interview at the Recode conference Wednesday, she went as far as to say that she believes American supporters of Trump colluded with the Russians.
“She clearly feels and many of us feel that the election was stolen from her. It’s undisputed how close the margin was in the three states that made the difference,” said Terry Shumaker, a longtime Clinton friend and former U.S. ambassador to Trinidad. “Am I angry? Yes. Do I assume she is? Yes.”
One former Clinton adviser who has been in touch with her since Election Day was blunt in their assessment of Clinton’s recent venting about the circumstances surrounding her defeat.
This person was deeply bothered by Clinton’s assertion on Wednesday in which she said “I take responsibility for every decision I make — but that’s not why I lost,” and said it reflected the fact that Clinton remains “focused on her legacy.”
“I think this time around, the confluence of the Russia hacking and that they tried to sway the election Trump’s way… and the Comey thing gave her back-up to say, ‘Hey, this wasn’t my fault,'” the ex-adviser said. “She doesn’t want to be the person that lost Donald Trump. It’s one thing to lose to Barack Obama. It’s entirely a different thing to lose to Donald Trump.”
